So How Was Your Day, Dear?

James Romberger writes that he no longer reads my blog because I’m not so swell to Helen Thomas; Don McGregor said (in other words) that he’s now reading me because he thinks what I write about Helen Thomas is the bee's knees; some yutz named Rick Olney, who a few people aren't so crazy about, sent me a thinly veiled threat because someone else wrote something about him (?); Gene Colan told me he loves me; and Harlan Ellison hugged me and tucked me into bed.

Hahahhaa. Some people will always hate you no matter what, y'know? Me, I much prefer to hang out (even virtually) with people who think for themselves and form their own opinions and I don't give a damn whether those opinions agree with mine! How are you ever supposed to learn ANYthing if everyone you know thinks just like you do? You just keep being you, sir (as you will no matter what) and some of us will just keep appreciating that.
Best,

Don't worry about Olney. He's a smelly bloated warthog. But whatever you do, don't let him buy any comics from Dave Cockrum's collection. He doesn't deserve them.

Nor would he be likely to pay for them.
