Dear Mr. Colan,
It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of the late Senator Robert C. Byrd.
My first encounter with the powerful senator from West Virginia was in the pages of Tales of Suspense, when you drew him demanding that Tony Stark appear before his senate sub-committee hearing to answer questions about Iron Man.
Though the recent movie touched briefly upon this plot thread, it was your original artwork that flooded to mind when I heard the news about the late Senator's passing this morning.
Would it be possible for you to post a drawing or any of the published images of Senator Byrd on your website?
It would allow me to link to it to show the world how strong an image the man projected, even back in the 1960s for young impressionable teens.
