What do you mean by having courtesy in a martial art? It doesn't look like this guy was shown much courtesy . . . I'm honestly interested in your theory on this one.
Gichin Funakoshi, the great master and father of modern martial arts, wrote, "Karate begins with courtesy and ends with courtesy." Regardless of your interest in the martial arts, you should read this man's writings.
