I've known this generous man for three decades, but it's always a thrill to get a note from Stan or hear him on the phone... And in a few weeks, I get to see his smiling face in person.

Is it weird whenever I read Stan's Writing I imagine his voice reading it?
I have to agree that I'd geek out if I got to meet Stan in person. If I met both Gene AND Stan, I'd need oxygen to keep from hyperventilating. LOL!!
