Following my earlier discussions with Gene, and one this morning with his daughter Nanci, I am setting up the Gene Colan Scholarship at the Joe Kubert School.
In lieu of flowers and such, if you would like to contribute to this scholarship in Gene’s memory, please make your check payable to “Joe Kubert School” and mail it to my attention:

Thank you for sharing with us all the news you have been posting here. I'm sure all of Gene's fans have appreciated hearing how he was doing through his ordeal. He was a true gentleman, and much loved artist.

Norrin2 -- I'm sure if you want to make a contribution you can contact the Joe Kubert School and give them a credit card number. I am just not set up for that. I am simply collecting the checks so they are all ready at once (or once/month...or however that will work). Trying to save Mike Chen and the admins there some work. Ok?
How about a Paypal address for scholarship contributions?
